Bhopas are considered to be priest singers who depict the story of folk deities. The Bhopas are invited by villagers to perform in their areas during times of sickness and misfortune. Here, at the camel fair of Pushkar, in the Thar desert, a Bhopa plays the Ravan-hattha musical instrument while his daughter sings the melody.
