The aim of this book is to discover and disclose the handicraft trends of the district of Setúbal (the Blue Coast).
During a period of ten months, contact with the craftsmen of the region provided knowledge of the handicrafts, which, in the first place, are the fruit of activities that link man with his surroundings.
Fascination for unique articles with a 'history' that involves creators and production facilities encourage the discovery of places and persons that enrich the region.
This book provides a discourse on man and the landscape and on the complicity between ancestral knowledge, innovation and making use of resources in day-to-day transformation.
